The iPhone has a large market for apps that help women through the various stages of their pregnancy. Although newer and better apps will likely still come out in that area, the fact of the matter is that there are great apps there right now that women can use to help them keep track of their pregnancy. However, what is to help the two new parents with the development of their child? Until recently the answer was not much, but Baby Activity Logger is just one of a number of great apps out there that have been created to fill that void.
Keep track of the important things in as little as two taps
The watchword for the creation of this app was minimalism because its goal was to minimize the amount of effort that you had to put into doing the tracking. Parents that are sleep-deprived and continually busy might not have the chance to keep long and detailed notes and that is why things like your baby’s sleep habits, eating habits and bowel movements can all be tracked easily and quickly through the use of this iPhone app.
Detailed statistics tracking done automatically based on the information you enter
In addition to being able to enter all of the information discussed above, the really great thing about the Baby Activity Logger is that it will give you statistics based on everything that you’ve put into the tracking device. Are you interested in finding out how much your baby has been eating each day? Maybe you want to know the average length of each feeding session? Perhaps you are interested in the average interval of time between different feeding sessions? No matter what piece of statistical information you seek, the totals tab of the Baby Activity Logger will give you that information.
Overall, we’ve given the Baby Activity Logger 9 out of 10. It is missing some features that would be helpful with tracking the development of a child, but it also releases many updates and continually adds new things to the software interface. This reflects well on the people responsible for creating the software in the first place and likely means that they will back it up for a long time to come. Even in its current form however, it is likely one of the best iPhone apps out there for tracking the early development of your newborn child.
